The Partnership at Drugfree.org is a nonprofit organization uniting communications professionals, renowned scientists and parents to offer information and support to millions of American families as they aim to raise healthy children.
As parents navigate substance abuse issues in their families, they often need advice on what to say to their kids and how to begin the conversation. They want advice from experts and other parents, but they don't know where to find it.
To fulfill that need, the Partnership is creating a comprehensive, dynamic collection of resources athttp://www.drugfree.org to answer parents' questions, offer expert advice on addressing drug and alcohol issues throughout a child's life, and connect parents to each other through an online support community.
Comcast and the Partnership at Drugfree.org are leveraging a mix of Comcast's assets, including cross-channel advertising, the company's signature On Demand service and our leading broadband Internet portal,www.comcast.net, to promote these much-needed tools and services for parents.
