TOWN-WATCH  ALERT!  


Hi Friends and Neighbors,
Please read below from the Chief of Police.  

Please report ANY & ALL suspicious activity.  As a police officer, you are not imposing AT ALL if you call 911 for anything out of the ordinary or a suspicious person or activity.  That one call to 911 could could make a difference.  And please be assured that extra patrols are in effect! Any & all info will be held in confidence.

2 Daytime Burglaries & Car Break-ins 

On Thursday, 28 APRIL 2011, we had 2 daytime residential Burglaries. 
1.       In the 4oo Block of North Providence Rd, a home was entered by forcing a patio window.  Jewelry was taken.
2.       In the 500 Block of Plush Mill Rd, a home was entered by forcing the rear door.  Jewelry was taken.  All residents are asked to call 911 if they see any suspicious vehicle or person in their neighborhood.

On Saturday night , 23 April 2011 from 12 Midnight to 5:00 AM, four more vehicles were entered.  Two vehicles were parked in the 300 Block of W Rose Valley RD and two were parked in the 4  Block of  West Brookhaven Rd. Three of the four vehicles had windows smashed out.  Middletown, Tinicum Twp and Ridley Park are have similar incidents with car break-ins.
There were more car break-ins this last week-
1.       700 Block of OXFORD Ln- GPS , DVDs and video games taken, vehicle was unlocked.
2.       700 Block of SCOTT Ln- nothing taken, car unlocked, Heavy set white male seen leaving the area.
3.       200 Block of W ROSE VALLEY Rd- nothing taken, Passenger window smashed.
4.       200 Block of FAIRFIELD Dr- GPS and cash taken, vehicle unlocked.
5.       500 Block of W COUNTRY CLUB Ln- laptop taken, Passenger window smashed.
6.       400 Block of PALMERS Ln- Personal items taken, vehicle unlocked.
The break-ins are happening late at night from 2300 to 0500 Hrs.  The only Suspect seen was a Heavy set White Male.  Please remember to LOCK your vehicles and do NOT leave items of value in your cars.  Report any & all suspicious persons or vehicles in your neighborhood by calling 911 or contacting the Chief via phone or email.  thank you.
