I agree that every day is a day to give thanks in our hearts. I know that every day is a good day when we can choose to display gratitude in our hearts, minds and emotions. So my friends what I want to express right here right now is to remind one another how blessed we are to live in a free country here in America. I want to give a shout out to all of our troops and military families.
Everyone knows there is a lot going on in the world but one thing we can do is to choose how we will react in any given situation. We always have the opportunity to review our memory banks and to choose the good ones to recall in order to stir up the gift of gratitude. An extra special thank you to everyone that serves in and around the community. Your service is appreciated and not overlooked. Thank you to all of the firemen, police, township staff & teachers and unsung heroes. You are not forgotten. Your efforts don't go unnoticed.
And an extra extra special shout out to all of the teenagers who are trying to do their best and find their way in life; you are not alone. There is a lot of pressure on today's teens. You can make it. Say no to drugs, sex and cigarettes. You will have to choose at some point; everyone does. Say yes to life. It will make your life much better and more enjoyable. Drugs will only take you further away from your true self and where you want to go in life. And if you need help ask for it. There are people that care. There is no shame in asking for help. Here is a local link if you need to reach out now or in the future; more links will be added. If you would like to contribute to the list; please do. Thank you. God bless you.
