Nether Providence Police Up-Date


Early yesterday morning, December 6th, the Nether Providence Police Department, in conjunction with the Delaware County Narcotics Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, in the Garden City section of the township. This was the culmination of a several month long investigation of the criminal activity surrounding this property and individuals.
As a result of the search warrant, three individuals were taken into custody for narcotics and related offenses, all resided in the Garden City section of the township.

Investigators recovered a quantity of Oxycodone pills, Suboxone film strips and marijuana in addition to a large sum of US Currency and numerous pieces of narcotic paraphernalia. Investigators also recovered five (5) firearms from the residence, including two (2) assault rifles.

The investigation was initiated after police received complaints of illegal narcotics activity involving the suspects and the residence.
