On November 12th, 2013, at approximately 11:08am, the Nether Providence Police responded to the 300 block of Austin Court in the Garden City Section of the township for an armed robbery of a pedestrian. Police made contact with the victim who stated he was sitting in his vehicle listening to the radio. When the victim attempted to exit the vehicle, an unknown black male was standing at his door and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at him. The actor demanded money from the victim and the victim turned over his wallet which contained an undisclosed amount of US Currency. The actor fled the area, jumping a fence leading to the rear of the 700 block of Putnam Blvd. A K-9 track was established which ended in the 800 block of Putnam Blvd. Neighborhood canvas revealed 2 black males, both in their teens, were seen leaving the area, possibly on bicycles into Chester Park. The actor is described as a black male, 18-20 y/o, approximately 6’2”, skinny build. Actor was wearing a royal blue Aeropostale hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Attached is a composite sketch of the actor.
