America Your Freedom Is Under Attack

Join The National Day of Prayer  Facebook Group if You so Want!   Nobody is forcing you: Yet!

This group is not designed to argue religion.
It is a group that believes in the fundamental rights of ALL Americans. Specifically our rights of Freedom of Speech and Religion. While we believe all Americans are free to choose, we are Christian believers who want our rights recognized in the same manner as all other religions. Our government is so AFRAID of offending . Where was their fear when they offended all Christians by taking prayer out of school. I'm sure students were NEVER forced to participate. It was a freedom. Where was the fear when rulings came to take the 10 commandments out of public buildings ?  And The Pledge of Allegiance?   No one has EVER been forced to obey them.  It is Freedom. We simply want the FREEDOM to keep our constitution as it was written.

"I respect peoples' rights to choose their own lifestyle.  But that doesn't mean I have to make it mine or agree with how others choose to live.   Even Christ gave people the freedom to make their own choices But He did draw the line in the sand!  I believe we will all have to answer someday to  God Almighty for the choices we have made here on earth and the way we choose to participate in life in the open and behind closed doors; right, wrong ; true or false ; Restore our rights.  Defend the constitution &  stop government waste local and federal.   Talk is cheap.  Spending money to save money isn't good arithmetic"   - Meg O' Hanlon

MADISON, Wis. — A federal judge in Wisconsin ruled the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional Thursday, saying the day amounts to a call for religious action.

Congress established the day in 1952 and in 1988 set the first Thursday in May as the day for presidents to issue proclamations asking Americans to pray. The Freedom From Religion Foundation, a Madison-based group of atheists and agnostics, filed a lawsuit against the federal government in 2008 arguing the day violated the separation of church and state.
