Please see below for a very important police alert from the Police Chief of Nether Providence.

On Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 3:50 PM the Nether Providence Police received a report of a Child being abducted at MOORE Rd by Creekside Swim Club. A 10 year old male saw a male (unknown race) get of a Maroon or Red work van with no glass in the rear doors and grabbed “Possibly” a child and placed the child in the rear of the van. It is unknown if the child was a male or a female. The van was last seen heading on Media Parkway from Moore Rd. Nether Providence Elementary School was notified and they have NO reports of any student not returning home. DelCom radio put out a alert for the Maroon or Red Work van.
