Abortion & Health Care News

The article below is a reprint from the friends of liberty which I am in complete opposition to their idea of healthcare as  abortion mills in the name of health care for women
be able to live with themselves.  They , the friends of liberty say  to say: "we've had enough of the attacks on women's access to reproductive healthcare."  I think this is a crime on humanity and there are so many reasons why.  Now in my opinion lots of girls, young boys, women and men don't even have a clue what love is today so they go out looking for love in all the wrong places in all the wrong ways looking to capture that elusive thing called "love"  and in the meantime if they end up getting pregnant they have included an innocent soul into the mix of  their messed up idea of love.  Healthcare should start between the ears with a solid foundation of values and actions.  Some young girls are so desperate for love that they end up buying into having premature sex and having to deal with too much too soon; then if you add an abortion to the mix the burden will really get heavy unless they decide to buy into the so called healthcare regime, my body my rights business turning  off their conscience in order to justify their self serving actions.

I am not God so I can not judge someone elses' actions but I still am Pro-Life and have a right to express that.  I along with hundreds of thousands of others  believe that life begins at conception.   I think it is the best choice.  So people the next time you have a chance to vote or talk to your senator and the people that represent you and your families check in with your heart and ask yourself if you really want to promote abortion clinics and health care that justifies the taking of lives during pregnancy which is the evidence of life itself.  So why not  think before you vote?  I realize it isn't easy since so many career politicians will tell the people anything just to get the vote while secretly not giving a damn about the people they represent but they are self serving agents that love to puff up their egos while stuffing their pockets.

Dear friend of liberty,
The attempt by some members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly to regulate abortion clinics out of business is in its final weeks. The time is now to tell your state senator, “We’ve had enough,” of the attacks on women’s access to reproductive healthcare.
When Senate Bill 732 passed the state Senate, it placed heavy regulatory burdens on clinics that provide abortion care at certain stages of pregnancy. Incredibly, as the legislature debated the state budget in late June, the state House Health Committee found the time to amend the bill to make it even more burdensome by widening the net to mandate unnecessary regulations for all abortions.
It’s been called the worst attack on women’s reproductive healthcare in Pennsylvania since the Supreme Court protected the right to abortion care in Roe v. Wade.

Abortion Isn't Health Care

Women’s health centers that provide abortion care already follow a long list of statutes and regulations. Requiring these centers to follow new regulations is simply an old trick out of the playbook of those who believe that politicians and bureaucrats in Harrisburg and Washington should control women’s reproductive health decisions.
While the amended SB 732 has yet to pass the state House, we’re getting ahead of the curve and focusing on the Senate. Urge your state senator to reject SB 732!

SCHOOL ABORTION  (ARTICLE REPRINTED)

March 24, 2010 - 4:46 PM | by: Dan Springer

The mother of a 15-year old Seattle girl is furious because her daughter had an abortion with some assistance from the nurses at her school and she was never informed. She only found out after the fact when her daughter had an unrelated health problem and finally revealed she had terminated a pregnancy by having an abortion at a nearby clinic without her mothers' consent or being informed.
The girl attends Ballard High School in Seattle which has a teen health clinic inside. The clinic is run by Swedish Medical Center and administered by the King County Health Department.
According to the girl’s mother, who did not want to give her name, her daughter was given a pregnancy test at the school clinic which was positive. She was then told by the nurse that she could have an abortion at a nearby clinic without her parents’ knowledge.
The girl then called a taxi, which picked her up at the school and drove her by herself to the abortion clinic.
The mother acknowledges she signed a consent form at the beginning of the school year giving the school permission to administer health care off campus. She assumed that meant in cases of emergency. Nowhere on the form is abortion mentioned.
A King County Health official would not speak about any of the details surrounding the case, but did say that no laws were broken. In Washington State a girl of any age can get an abortion without her parent’s being notified. It’s one of 15 states without either parental consent or parental notification laws.
The county health official also says that schools have sent kids in taxis in the past when they’re taken off campus for medical procedures. James Apa, a Health Department spokesman says it’s one of several modes of transportation used.
Note: In an earlier version of this story I incorrectly reported that the girl’s abortion was performed at a Planned Parenthood clinic. I have since learned that the procedure took place at a different private clinic in Seattle.
FYI : Abortion for minors in
Pennsylvania
  • Requires parental consent - one parent.
  • Allows minor to bypass parent’s consent by obtaining a court approval.
  • Allows abortion in medical emergency without parental consent.
