More Info	We are proud to annouce that the 2011 Chester Riverfront Ramble is set for Saturday, September 24, 2011 on the Chester waterfront. With acclaimed R&B sensation, Johnny Gill, the all-star roster of performers includes Kindred the Family Soul, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Jeff Bradshaw and Brass Heaven along with local gospel and jazz artists, and a performance by the two-time Stellar award winning Wilmington Chester Mass Choir. The 2011 Chester Riverfront Ramble at the Wharf at Rivertown promises spectacular views of the Commodore Barry Bridge and the Delaware River. All activities will start at noon, including food and craft vendor displays, and children’s games. There will be a kid’s area with moon bounces, a trackless train, games, storytellers, special activities by the J. Lewis Crozer Library, Treasure Hunt and other activities. An informational Health Pavilion is sponsored by Crozer Chester Medical Center and Widener University. Open to the public, everyone is invited to this free event to enjoy more than 60 food and craft vendors, featuring some of the region’s best barbeque and soul food along with unique and enticing crafts.
