As a police officer, I can attest that your information is very, very important. Record a vehicle plate number, description of the vehicle, description of the suspects involved, significant markings on the vehicle (stickers, dents, tint, etc....). Any detailed information is extremely helpful. As always, take the necessary precautions.

Subject: Burglary and Attempt
On Monday, 27 JUN 2011, there was a day-time forced entry burglary in the 200 block on FAIRFIELD DR. Front door was kicked in. Entry was made between 1330 Hrs to 1600 Hrs. Two flat screen TVs, two laptops, jewelry and cash were taken. A black vehicle with two young white males with dark hair was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.
An Attempted Burglary was discovered in the 300 Block of Smithfield Rd on Tuesday, 28 JUN 2011 at 1730 Hrs. A screen to a basement window was cut, but no entry was gained. Unknown when the screen was cut.
Residents are reminded to call 911 IMMEDIATELY if they see any suspicious vehicles or persons in their neighborhood.
