Two friendly pirates and a camera shy bumble-bee were spotted along the avenue in Swarthmore last evening around 6 p.m. Word on the street was they were strolling up-town along the Swarthmore business district to congregate with the other trick or treaters at the Creative Living Room to share in the sweet treats. A good time was had by all.
The parents and children of Nether Providence Township are all looking forward to Saturday when the children of Nether Providence get to go out and show off their costumes with their parents or guardians. Everyone please stay safe. Any more info & updates will be posted. Thank you.

Nether Providence Elementary (N.P.E.) Halloween Parade Update
Due to the closure of WSSD schools today, NPE’s annual Halloween Parade and Parties are rescheduled for Thursday, November 1st.
The parade will begin at 9:30 AM on the back parking lot. In the event of rain, we will parade through the halls into the cafeteria/gym. You will be invited to wait in the main hallway and cafeteria/gym for the parade to passby.
We ask that parents use your best judgment about your child’s choice of costume. However, as always, NO GUNS OR OTHER TOY WEAPONS may be carried. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this matter. Families who do not wish their child to participate in the parade should contact the classroom teacher via email or note, so we are able to make alternative arrangements. Thank you!!
