Lombardo was honored by his officers for his service to the fire company. Chief Lombardo does an outstanding amount of work behind the scenes at Garden City that many times goes unrecognized. From writing grants, to filling out fire reports, he puts in a great amount of time to make sure things run smoothly. Chief Lombardo is a vital asset to this fire company, so in order to show the company's appreciation, the officers of Garden City Fire Company presented the Chief with a plaque, thanking him for his unselfish and unwavering dedication, service to the company & community.
